Spear of the Winds

The third book of the Westfal series follows events from Dragon Heartstone. Riasean hunts for Larah, who has been seized by slave raiders. Gall seeks Faline but gets sidetracked by the Caretakers once again. Return the Spear of the Winds, they demand. It is in Tamor, the slave capital of Westfal, where life is short, and freedom is in short supply. To make matters worse, the powerful artifact is in the hands of a master of the Dark Arts. These are the very skills Faline needs to recover her own abilities.

Riasean finds himself back in Tamor, where he never vowed to return. But with the blessing of the Brotherhood, he returns to kill the Grand Council Ambassador and then rescue Larah. Or die trying. Gall and his companion find the Spear and its guardian. While fire and brimstone rain down upon Tamor, the Grand Council unleashes its fury upon the rulers.

Amid the chaos, Larah embraces her hidden talents to the delight and despair of those around her.
