Personal Pronouns
The issue of proscribed use of personal pronouns as legally compelled speech is complex and unresolved in courts. Some argue it violates freedom of speech, while others contend it does not force speech but may have consequences. The Supreme Court has yet to rule, but compelling government interest must be demonstrated in such cases, particularly regarding transgender rights and discrimination.
